Victoria Principal has a multi-talented personality. In her professional career, she was an actor, producer, and writer, and as well as she was a skincare ambassador.

If we talk about her background she evolved in many places and continuously enforced to modify her environment.

Victoria Ree Principal was born in Japan on 3rd January 1950. Her father is an Air Force sergeant in the United States and was located in the city of Fukuoka so Victoria spent the first months of her life in Japan.

Her family moved around a lot in her childhood. Even she and her mom shifted around a series of U.S. Air Force bases.

She flourished in England, Puerto Rico, Massachusetts, and Florida, among other places.

During her primary education, she changed to 17 different schools, the Royal Ballet School of England also included in it.

But we are not damn sure about her childhood whether it was happy or difficult. There are many news about it.

According to Daily Mail, Victoria and her mother, Ree Principal had a convoluted relationship. The paper reported in 2009 that Victoria said that her childhood was very difficult.

In an interview, she talked about her initial life and said,” I wish I had known my childhood would end,”

In another quote about her life, she said, ”I was very lucky. My parents raised me in such a way that it never occurred to me that I wasn’t equal”.

Do you know, that Victoria started her job at a very early age? She appeared in a television commercial when she was only 5 years old.

But when Victoria entered Miami–Dade Community College in 1968, she would choose a very different career.

If the circumstances remained constant she would surely become a doctor.

However, the predetermined state totally changed the situation. Only one month before completing her one year in college, she had a terrible accident. she was seriously injured in a car crash. She had to spend months resting for recovery.

She missed many important classes and took the first year of studies again. At that time Victoria changed her ways and moved to New York to pursue her acting career.

After earning fame in acting and modeling in New York she went to L.A in 1971. She tried to take major film roles on the West Coast.

Finally, she got a role in John Huston’s western film ”The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean.” Victoria played the role of the mistress of the main character.

No doubt, She was a very talented young actor at that time and she earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Newcomer, that caused her fame in Hollywood.

“People started inviting me to parties. I thought these people really liked me but I found out I was only a hot meal ticket,” Victoria told People.

After the success of The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, Victoria tried to find out the roles that gave her satisfaction.

“I wanted to be successful simply because I didn’t want to get hurt. I began to get hard. I became very protective of myself,” she told People.

In 1957, when she appeared in the action film Vigilante Force, she felt that there had gone very wrong. She falls into depression trying to live up to a perfect image.

”I realized I was so unhappy I didn’t want to live,” Victoria explained.

At that time she decided to move up to film and started to study law. Her whole life what she has done, the focus shown by her body language.

she constantly received requests to come back in acting and the very first agent she came in contact with was the television series ”Dallas”. She changed her ambition and said,

” I had left acting to be an agent and was on my way to law school, but when a friend dropped off a Dallas script, I read it. When I finished, I knew my life had changed – that part was mine. So I called the  person and said, ‘I’m sending someone in.’ She said, ‘Who?’ I said, ‘Just put down my name. It will be a surprise.’ And it certainly was a surprise – I showed up with me! I sent myself in for it!”

Victoria realized that Dallas would be hit.

Besides, all the knowledge about the industry she constantly negotiated with CBS. She wanted and it actually happened that Dallas won the millions of hearts.

”As a result that’s why, you can only notice in hindsight, that I was the only person in the cast who did commercials, who was doing movies of the week, who wrote books and these all belong to me. I retained the control and ownership of my image. No one owns me,” she said.

When Victoria’s Principal turned 28, Dallas’s premier became worldwide famous and she was the actual reason to make the play worldwide hit.

Nobody knows the pretty wife of Bobby Ewing and the sister-in-law of JR, who soon became the crush of the boys of the whole generation.

She left this hit TV serial in 1987.

Many reasons were behind this decision.

“A lot of work has gone into keeping Victoria Principal separate from Pam Ewing. To stay on the show any longer would really seal my fate in the industry,” she told the New York Times in 1987.

Victoria married and divorced two pretty normal for a Hollywood star.

She got the reputation of being a human hunter.

“No one who ever dated me has ever said an unkind thing about me,” she exclaims. “I’ve probably had fewer relationships than many in my 33 years, but no one will ever believe it,” Victoria said in 1983.

She met her first husband, named Christoper Skinner, on the set of Dallas. Skinner was a seven-year junior young actor to Victoria.

They met in 1978 and they got married and dated only three times. After 2 years they divorced.

After the first divorce, she started dating Andy Gibb, the English singer and songwriter. This relationship had much attraction but had many troubles. The couple had very strong bounding and Andy attracted too much to Victoria.

”I did everything I could to help him, but then I told him he would have to choose between me and his problem,” Victoria said after Gibb’s passing in 1998

After that Victoria fell in love with a plastic surgeon Dr Harry Glassman. The couple got married in 1985 in Dallas, Texas.

Since Victoria married a plastic surgeon, many rumors that her husband ”helped” her stay young. But in an interview in 2007, Victoria refused that she use her husband’s services.

”I’ve never had a face-lift. Or a professional peel or lasers,” she said.

She divorced Dr Harry Glassman in December 2006.

Victoria has no children but she attached the children of Dr Harry Glassman, two children from a previous relationship Andrew and Brooke.

Today Victoria Principal is 71 years old and very active on social media.
